The second Lenten Walk for the Carse Churches will take place on Saturday 28th February 2026. Those interested should meet at  10.00 a.m.  in the Stirling Council Car Park on the main A84 from Doune to Callander.  The car park is on the right when you are travelling North just before you leave the 30 mph speed limit.  Afterwards, refreshments will be taken at Deanston Distillery Coffee Bothy. The next Carse Churches’ Walk will take place on Wednesday 18 th   February 2026.  Meet at 10.00 a.m. in the Car Park behind the new Gift Shop (formerly the Tourist Office), in Aberfoyle.  After the walk coffee/lunch will be taken locally. This Aberfoyle the walk will be the first Lenten Walk of 2026. There will be five further Lenten Walks at weekly intervals thereafter.All welcome to this and every Carse Churches’ Walk . Best wishes. Meet at Park and Stride car park FK16 6HF on A84 Doune-Callander road just outside Doune on Friday 24 October at 10 am. Walk round Doune Ponds, then through village to Doune Castle via Castlehill Court. Walk past castle down to River Teith then round castle to the village then back to Doune Ponds and Park and Stride.
